{"id":18136,"date":"2026-04-15T13:36:26","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:36:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.peakpoint.pk\/en\/2026\/04\/15\/exam-crackdown-intensifies-rawalpindi\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T13:36:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:36:26","slug":"exam-crackdown-intensifies-rawalpindi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.peakpoint.pk\/en\/2026\/04\/15\/exam-crackdown-intensifies-rawalpindi\/","title":{"rendered":"Exam Crackdown Intensifies in Rawalpindi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under a province-wide zero tolerance policy an exam crackdown is underway in Rawalpindi to safeguard a transparent, merit-based testing system, driven by the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and directives from Chief Secretary Zahid Zaman and Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commissioner and Board Chairman Engineer Aamir Khattak<\/strong> has mobilized special teams for surprise inspections across districts to reinforce strict monitoring, ensure adherence to examination SOPs and disrupt organized cheating networks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan<\/strong> led inspections of multiple centers including Government Associate College for Boys Khayaban-e-Sir Syed Rawalpindi, Government High School Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Government Associate College for Women Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Government Girls High School Garghushti Hazro, Government Boys High School Garghushti Hazro, Government Boys High School No 1 Hazro, Government Associate College for Women Hazro and Government Girls High School No 2 Hazro to review compliance with exam procedures.<\/p>\n<p>During a raid at Government Boys High School No 1 Hazro two candidates were caught red-handed cheating. A case was registered on site and forwarded to the discipline branch, and the invigilator on duty was immediately suspended from examination duties pending further inquiry.<\/p>\n<p>The board has reiterated that the exam crackdown will continue and that any negligence, corruption or violation of rules will not be tolerated.
