The solution supports payments with both Visa and non\u2011Visa cards and is designed to work with major network token providers, helping businesses avoid vendor lock\u2011in as they adopt AI commerce workflows.<\/p>\n<p>Merchants can accept agent\u2011initiated payments across major protocols including Trusted Agent Protocol, Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) and Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), while making product catalogs discoverable so consumers can find, compare and purchase within AI experiences. These capabilities aim to simplify how merchants present inventory and pricing to AI platforms and shoppers.<\/p>\n<p>Visa also built the capability to support enablers that process agentic transactions on merchants\u2019 behalf, with the Visa Acceptance Platform managing orchestration and PCI compliance to reduce complexity for smaller sellers and marketplaces.
