The session brought together key representatives from the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries, the Federal Secretary for Health and the Chief Executive Officer of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan to align on urgent supply priorities.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting focused on assessing and strengthening a comprehensive strategy to ensure uninterrupted medicine supply and a resilient national supply chain. Participants conducted a detailed review of helium gas availability, a critical input for MRI machines, and examined contingency measures to minimise any impact on diagnostic services.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister emphasised that close coordination between the Ministry of Health, <strong>DRAP<\/strong> and industry stakeholders has led to timely measures that have secured adequate stocks. As a result of these proactive steps the country currently maintains sufficient stock of essential medicines for the next five to six months, and the government reassures citizens there will be no disruption in access to necessary healthcare supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Officials were instructed to enhance coordination and continue proactive actions to strengthen distribution networks and inventory management.
