TECNO and Lonely Planet have launched the Shot On CAMON Contest 2026, calling on CAMON users worldwide, including photographers in Pakistan, to document everyday moments under the theme “Seeing is Believing”. The third annual edition, announced on May 15, invites entrants to use the CAMON 50 Series to capture authentic scenes between May 15 and October 11, 2026.<\/p>\n
The contest frames authenticity as a creative priority in a year shaped by AI and asks photographers to celebrate diverse skin tones, fleeting emotions and unrepeatable moments. Even the AI category begins with a real photograph taken on a CAMON device, encouraging participants to use technology to extend rather than replace personal observation and expression.<\/p>\n
As part of the partnership, three Lonely Planet photographers have contributed original images shot on the CAMON 50 Series and one Lonely Planet photographer will join TECNO\u2019s imaging experts on the final-round jury. TECNO and Lonely Planet will also produce co-branded content and photo-essay storytelling to highlight the people, places and narratives behind the images.<\/p>\n
The contest is organised around five creative perspectives that invite different ways of seeing. Faces Unfiltered celebrates honest portraits that reveal individuality and varied skin tones. Night Unveiled looks for atmosphere and emotion after dark. Culture Unscripted focuses on the natural rhythm of places through festivals, crafts and everyday interactions. Snapshot Unspotted highlights distant details and telephoto surprises that reveal intimacy from afar. AI Unimagined asks entrants to pair an original CAMON photo with an AI-styled version created in TECNO\u2019s AI Gallery to explore creative transformation built on real-world observation.<\/p>\n
Winners will receive both cash and travel rewards. The TECNO Photography Master will be awarded $8,000, while five Gold winners will receive $3,000 each, five Silver winners $2,000 each and five Bronze winners $1,000 each. Ten participants will be named TECNO Friends and receive a CAMON 50 Series smartphone. The Photography Master and the five Gold winners will also be invited to a bespoke trip to the Philippines as an exclusive prize.<\/p>\n
To enter, post images on Instagram with a visible TECNO device watermark and the hashtags #ShotOnCAMON2026 and #TECNOCAMON50Series, then submit high-resolution files by email to shotoncamon@tecnomobile.com or through the ShotOnCAMON Gallery on TECNO\u2019s global website. All entries must be original work and duplicate submissions will be disqualified. Selected winners will be showcased in global exhibitions, the TECNO annual photo book and across TECNO\u2019s official platforms.<\/p>\n
Photographers across Pakistan are encouraged to take part and showcase local stories on an international stage through the Shot On CAMON contest.
