The Sakeena College of Nursing in Khanpur held a dignified oath-taking ceremony to mark International Nurses Day, attended by teaching and administrative staff, students, parents and members of the local community.<\/p>\n

The proceedings began with a recitation from the Quran followed by a naat, after which nursing students pledged their dedication to patient care, ethical responsibility and service to humanity.<\/p>\n In her address, MD Fouzia Mushtaq<\/strong> referenced the legacy of Florence Nightingale and said International Nurses Day offers a moment to recognise nurses’ sacrifices, celebrate their vital role in healthcare and reinforce support for nursing education in the region. She described nurses as a key pillar of society who work tirelessly for patients’ wellbeing.<\/p>\n Principal Musarrat Rani<\/strong> encouraged students to cultivate both professional competence and moral character, urging them to carry the spirit of compassion and patience into their future roles so they can serve communities effectively across Khanpur and beyond.<\/p>\n Guest Shaheeda Abbasi<\/strong> commended nurses as an indispensable element of the health system who bring hope, courage and care to patients. She praised the college for raising educational standards locally and for preparing young men and women for a respected career in nursing.<\/p>\n The ceremony concluded with the presentation of shields and certificates to staff and students in recognition of outstanding performance and service.
