The operations involve large deployments from the police and other law enforcement agencies with <strong>SSP Operations<\/strong> and senior officers providing direct on-site supervision.<\/p>\n<p>Search teams are conducting targeted actions in neighbourhoods and key points including Pirodhai, City, Ganjmandi, Waris Khan, New Town, Sadiqabad, Chakri, Kallar Syedan, Kahuta, Gujar Khan, Dhamial, Mandra, Rawat, Wah Cantt, Morgah, Race Course, Aray Bazaar, Nasirabad, the Airport area, Taxila, Westridge, Saddar Wah, Civil Lines, Chaklala and the Cantt area. Special snap checks have also been set up at the city\u2019s entry and exit routes to intercept suspicious movement.<\/p>\n<p>Joint check posts established with other agencies are actively checking vehicles and individuals, while search teams are carrying out thorough inspections at bus stands, houses, hostels, hotels, sarais, markets, shops and other public places. These measures form part of an intensified security push focused on preventing anti-social and criminal activities.<\/p>\n<p>So far the operations have resulted in the arrest of two proclaimed offenders and two Afghan nationals in connection with various cases. The Rawalpindi search operations continue with the objective of removing criminal elements and ensuring public safety during the festive period.<\/p>\n<p>More than 3,700 police officers are deployed across Rawalpindi to handle security and traffic duties for Eid ul Adha, with the police utilising all available resources to protect life and property.
