The APCC meeting examined new Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) proposals, ongoing schemes and the annual development programme to ensure alignment with national priorities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Engineer Aamir Zamir<\/strong>, Head of Monitoring and Evaluation, provided the committee with a detailed briefing on the progress of ongoing projects, performance assessments and recommended strategies for future implementation. His presentation stressed the importance of robust monitoring systems and results-based decision making to improve delivery and impact across PSDP initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from federal ministries, provincial governments and relevant agencies outlined their development priorities and planning needs. The APCC meeting deliberated on approvals for new projects, equitable allocation of resources and measures to ensure timely completion consistent with the country\u2019s development agenda. Officers and chiefs from the Planning Commission participated in the discussions to coordinate federal and provincial planning efforts.<\/p>\n<p>While several high-priority projects received instructions for budget allocation, the committee also agreed that certain proposals could not be included due to national austerity program measures. The APCC meeting therefore balanced the need to advance key initiatives with fiscal constraints, focusing resources where they would deliver the greatest public benefit.<\/p>\n<p>In a post-meeting statement, <strong>Engineer Aamir Zamir<\/strong> said the APCC meeting was vital for creating harmony between federal and provincial planning and for sharpening the focus on national development targets.
