The ceasefire and related arrangements, expected to be formally observed on June 19, mark an important step toward reducing regional tensions and restoring stability.<\/p>\n<p>He acknowledged the leadership of <strong>Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif<\/strong>, the strategic guidance of Chief of Defence Staff <strong>Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir<\/strong>, the diplomatic efforts of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister <strong>Ishaq Dar<\/strong>, and the regional security coordination led by Federal Minister for Interior <strong>Mohsin Naqvi<\/strong>, noting each played an instrumental role in facilitating the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Barrister Danyal said that diplomacy, not destruction, is the path to progress and emphasised that Pakistan mediation demonstrated Islamabad&#8217;s ability to bridge differences. He noted that the outcome reflects the confidence both Iranian and American leadership placed in Pakistan&#8217;s principled and balanced foreign policy during sensitive talks.<\/p>\n<p>The ceasefire and subsequent arrangements are expected to stabilise the conflict zone and ease economic pressures on developing countries by improving global energy supply chains. Officials in Islamabad highlighted that reduced hostilities can open space for development, trade and regional cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan has reaffirmed its readiness to support initiatives that build on this progress and thanked friendly partners including Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates for encouraging restraint.
