COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) hosted a 16-member Bangladeshi delegation of senior academics and administrators from leading public and private universities as part of the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor initiative, with full support from HEC Pakistan.<\/p>\n
The visiting group included vice chancellors, a pro vice chancellor for academics, deans, senior professors and academic administrators from institutions such as Asian University of Bangladesh, Jahangirnagar University, University of Dhaka, University of Chittagong, North South University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, University of Rajshahi, BRAC University and Southeast University, among others.<\/p>\n
CUI Rector Prof Dr Raheel Qamar welcomed the Bangladeshi delegation alongside senior university officials and department heads. Ms Muniba Nasser, Head of the International Office, provided a comprehensive briefing on the university\u2019s digital governance systems and recent institutional initiatives.<\/p>\n
In his remarks the Rector outlined CUI\u2019s work on AI-based adaptive learning management systems, paperless administration, green campus measures and sustainability. He also highlighted progress in biomedical research, the university\u2019s vision for technology commercialization and steps to make health technologies more accessible to local communities. CUI offered its AI and ICT expertise to support enhancements to Bangladeshi universities\u2019 learning management systems.<\/p>\n
Discussions during the visit stressed expanding cooperation in joint research, innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation, reflecting a mutual commitment to strengthen higher education links and explore new avenues for bilateral academic collaboration.<\/p>\n
The Bangladeshi delegation toured the Junaid Zaidi Central Library and other academic facilities at the Islamabad campus to review research resources and learning infrastructure firsthand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
