Islamabad, 14 August 2026: The Government of Pakistan has conferred the Sitara-i-Imtiaz on Ms Aisha Rasool, Senior Consultant (Research & Opinion) at the Ministry of Law & Justice, in recognition of her distinguished contribution to public service and reform of the justice sector.<\/p>\n
Ms Rasool, who hails from South Waziristan, has been recognised for her work in justice reform, legal education, digital transformation, alternative dispute resolution and international legal engagement. She is the first Waziristani to receive this honour.<\/p>\n
With more than 15 years of professional experience, Ms Rasool holds an LL.M. from the University of York and is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom. Her career reflects sustained commitment to public service, institutional improvement and legal sector development.<\/p>\n
As Project Director of IMAC and CAMS, she has led key initiatives in mediation, arbitration and digital case management. On the international front, she has represented Pakistan at the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) and organised training programmes with Azerbaijan, China, T\u00fcrkiye and Bangladesh.<\/p>\n
Ms Rasool also established the Federal Law Journal, authored more than 28 research papers and launched the Federal Judicial Academy\u2019s E-Campus. For her innovation in public service, she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n
The conferment of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz acknowledges her leadership in justice reform, digital governance and global legal cooperation.
