RAWALPINDI: Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) and Seyrab Water Systems have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with a particular focus on water management, groundwater, technological development, research and innovation.<\/p>\n
The MoU was signed during a meeting held at the university on August 19, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman. The university\u2019s Registrar, Deans and Directors were also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the meeting, Prof Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman underlined the vital importance of water and said joint and coordinated efforts were needed to deal with the current and emerging challenges facing water resources and their management.<\/p>\n
He said the agreement would provide an effective platform for joint initiatives in water-related programmes, research and modern technological solutions.<\/p>\n
Mr Adnan Faisal, Founder of Seyrab Water Systems, thanked the Vice Chancellor and the university administration for their cooperation and support.<\/p>\n
He termed the MoU an important step towards building a useful and result-oriented partnership between the two organisations.
