ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has opened the fourth edition of its Young Graduates Exhibition, titled \u201cA World Out of Place,\u201d at its Grand Hall and Gallery No. 2 in Islamabad.<\/p>\n
Curated by Noor Fatima, Consultant for Visual Arts and Marketing at PNCA, the exhibition features works by 53 emerging artists from leading art institutions across Pakistan.<\/p>\n
The participating institutions include the National College of Arts (NCA) Rawalpindi, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi Women University (RWU), the University of Gujrat and COMSATS University Islamabad.<\/p>\n
According to PNCA, the exhibition brings together a wide range of contemporary practices and reflects the ideas, concerns, experiences and developing visual languages of a new generation of Pakistani artists.<\/p>\n
\u201cA World Out of Place\u201d looks at the position of young artists as they engage with a rapidly changing social and cultural landscape. The works on display include painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, mixed media and other contemporary practices.<\/p>\n
Together, the exhibition presents a collective portrait of a generation exploring questions of identity, place, memory, belonging and transformation.<\/p>\n
The Young Graduates Exhibition is part of PNCA\u2019s continuing effort to provide a platform for emerging artists and to connect new artistic voices with wider public audiences.<\/p>\n
The exhibition will remain open to the public at PNCA, Islamabad, until September 11, 2026. Visiting hours are from 10:00am to 4:00pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
