ISLAMABAD: Multi Founders Group made a clean sweep in the Multi Professional Cooperative Housing Society elections for 2026, held at F-9 Park, Islamabad, on September 19, 2026, with a large number of voters taking part in the polling process.<\/p>\n
The elections, held after a gap of three years, witnessed a contest between Multi Founders Group and Multi Ittehad Group. Multi Founders Group secured victory on all key seats.<\/p>\n
According to the results, Chaudhry Nadeem Sarwar was elected general secretary, Muhammad Nawaz Lali president, Muhammad Aslam Rao vice president, Syed Musaddiq Shahid finance secretary and Col (retd) Mahmood Awan information secretary. Engineer Atiqur Rehman, Ms Kulsoom Rafique, Azizullah Chaudhry and Umair Bin Tahir were elected as executive members.<\/p>\n
Newly elected general secretary Chaudhry Nadeem Sarwar secured 1,634 votes, while newly elected president Muhammad Nawaz Lali obtained 1,582 votes and vice president Muhammad Aslam Rao polled 1,596 votes. The highest number of votes secured by any member of the rival Multi Ittehad Group was 70.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the media after the victory, Chaudhry Nadeem Sarwar said the elections were conducted in a peaceful atmosphere by the grace of Allah. He said his group had served the members of the society in the past and would continue to work with the same spirit, considering service to members as its mission.<\/p>\n
Chaudhry Nadeem Sarwar further said that Chaudhry Abdul Majeed\u2019s vision was that even the opposing side taking part in the democratic process should appear fully satisfied after the completion of the electoral process.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, newly elected president Muhammad Nawaz Lali thanked the voters and said he was grateful to all members who reposed confidence in him. He said that, Insha Allah, no effort would be spared for the improvement of the society and the welfare of its members.<\/p>\n
Newly elected vice president Muhammad Aslam Rao said Multi Society was their home and they would always strive for its betterment. He said the confidence shown by members in the leadership of Multi Society was the result of the tireless efforts and hard work of Chaudhry Abdul Majeed.<\/p>\n
It may be mentioned that the elections of the Multi Professional Cooperative Housing Society were earlier held on September 6, 2026, in which Multi Founders Group had won by a heavy majority. However, as the required quorum was not completed under the law, polling was held again on September 19. Multi Founders Group again won all seats and completed a clean sweep.<\/p>\n
