ISLAMABAD: A student who secured first position in a patriotic song competition held under the Federal Directorate of Education\u2019s Markah-e-Haq Independence Day 2025 programme has reportedly not received the announced cash prize.<\/p>\n
The Solo Singing and Milli Naghma competition was held on August 11, 2025, at the Institute of Home Economics, Art and Design, F-7\/1, Islamabad. Ishrat Fatima, a BS Part VII student of IMCG F-7\/4, secured first position in the competition.<\/p>\n
On August 19, 2025, the official Facebook page of IMCG F-7\/4 congratulated Ishrat Fatima on her achievement and announced a cash prize of Rs30,000. The student was also awarded a merit certificate.<\/p>\n
According to the student\u2019s parents, the announced cash prize has still not been paid. They said the family had been waiting for the payment since the announcement made after the competition.<\/p>\n
The parents have requested the principal of IMCG, the Director of FDE, the Federal Secretary for Education and the Federal Education Minister to look into the matter and ensure payment of the announced prize money to the student.<\/p>\n
They said timely payment of announced prizes could encourage students to participate in educational and extracurricular activities and help recognise their achievements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
