RAWALPINDI: Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) has secured a four-year Level-II accreditation from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under the Washington Accord framework for its Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (FAET).<\/p>\n
The accreditation has been described as an important academic achievement for the university, reflecting its focus on quality engineering education, academic standards and alignment with international requirements.<\/p>\n
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman congratulated the faculty, staff and students on the development. He acknowledged their dedication and collective efforts in strengthening the standard of engineering education at the university.<\/p>\n
In a related development, PEC has also approved an increase in student intake for the faculty from 40 to 50. The decision will allow more students to pursue agricultural engineering while the university continues to maintain emphasis on academic quality and professional competence.<\/p>\n
