With <strong data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"422\">150 million broadband users<\/strong> and over <strong data-start=\"432\" data-end=\"470\">2 million Fiber To The Home (FTTH)<\/strong> connections, this milestone underscores Pakistan\u2019s rapidly growing digital infrastructure and PTA\u2019s dedication to <strong data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"611\">inclusive connectivity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"1005\">To commemorate this national achievement, PTA in collaboration with all major Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs)\u2014<strong data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"764\">Jazz, Telenor, Ufone, Zong, and SCO<\/strong>\u2014is offering a <strong data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"808\">special one-day incentive<\/strong> to users. On <strong data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"839\">June 20, 2025<\/strong>, mobile users can avail <strong data-start=\"864\" data-end=\"912\">2GB of free data and 200 free on-net minutes<\/strong> (valid for 24 hours) by dialing <strong data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"966\">short code *2200#<\/strong>, available across all mobile networks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1457\">Beyond celebration, PTA is also advancing <strong data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1082\">digital inclusion initiatives<\/strong>, particularly aimed at <strong data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1136\">empowering female students<\/strong>. In partnership with <strong data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1209\">PTCL, Transworld, Nayatel, Cybernet, and Wateen<\/strong>, PTA is rolling out <strong data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1253\">free Wi-Fi hotspots<\/strong> across <strong data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1292\">HEC-recognized universities<\/strong>, including dedicated women\u2019s institutions. These hotspots will remain active for <strong data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1388\">six months<\/strong>, enabling improved access to digital education and online resources.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1782\">As part of its broader commitment to digital equity, <strong data-start=\"1512\" data-end=\"1536\">mobile manufacturers<\/strong> have donated <strong data-start=\"1550\" data-end=\"1587\">200 locally assembled smartphones<\/strong> to be distributed among <strong data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1633\">female SIM owners<\/strong>.
