Addressing false claims regarding instability following Ashura observances, Shah dismissed the assertions as baseless and misleading. “These rumours circulating on social media alleging disturbances in Gilgit-Baltistan are completely untrue, designed only to harm the region’s tourism, economy, and international image,” Shah stated clearly.<\/p>\n
Reassuring tourists of complete safety, Shah confirmed that Gilgit-Baltistan remained fully peaceful throughout the Ashura period, with no untoward incident reported anywhere. She assured both local and international visitors that all tourist destinations are open, accessible, and actively welcoming guests. Security forces, local administration, and tourism authorities remain highly vigilant and dedicated towards ensuring comprehensive security and convenience for visitors.<\/p>\n
The spokesperson urged tourists not to pay attention to unfounded and unverified reports, inviting everyone to visit Gilgit-Baltistan to experience firsthand the region’s traditional hospitality, picturesque landscapes, and peaceful atmosphere.<\/p>\n
