Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) Rawalpindi Region conducted a successful rescue operation, saving multiple families stranded due to flooding caused by rising water levels in the Indus River near Attock district. The emergency rescue was initiated promptly upon receiving the report of flooding in the Sindh Bela area near Patrolling Post Shadi Khan, District Attock.<\/p>\n
Under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Moazzam Munir, a patrol team swiftly arrived at the affected location and immediately launched a relief operation. Floodwaters had severely impacted the locality, leaving twelve nomadic families stranded. These families collectively comprised 90 individuals, including men, women, and children. The rescue team successfully evacuated all affected people along with their belongings to a secure location.<\/p>\n
Additionally, during the operation lasting approximately six hours, rescuers safely moved 120 livestock animals belonging to these families, ensuring no lives\u2014human or animal\u2014were lost in the incident. Following the successful evacuation, the flood-affected families expressed gratitude and appreciation towards the prompt and efficient efforts displayed by the Punjab Highway Patrol officers.<\/p>\n
