The session explored financial performance, discussed recent measures facilitating timely payments from residents, and outlined plans to utilize generated revenues for infrastructure improvements and city development projects.<\/p>\n<p>Chaired by Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, who also serves as Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Director General Civil Defense, the meeting saw the participation of senior CDA officials, including Member Administration and Estate Talat Mahmood, Member Finance Tahir Naeem, Member Environment Esfandyar Baloch, Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Planning Dr. Khalid Hafeez, and other senior officers.<\/p>\n<p>Member Finance Tahir Naeem presented a detailed briefing on the organization&#8217;s financial performance. Highlighting recent efforts directed by Chairman Randhawa, he noted that the CDA took extensive measures towards the end of the fiscal year for the convenience of citizens. In a significant step, the CDA extended the working hours of its &#8220;One Window Facilitation Center&#8221; from 9 AM until midnight, enabling residents to conveniently make timely payments of property charges, development charges, water bills, transfer fees, and remaining installments for residential and commercial plots.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the meeting, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that all revenues collected would be directly reinvested into improving Islamabad&#8217;s infrastructure and cityscape. He indicated that generated funds would be utilized specifically to upgrade essential facilities such as water supply networks, road repair, drainage system improvements, and beautification projects, including parks and green spaces. Chairman Randhawa stressed that resources would also be dedicated to ensuring timely completion of all ongoing developmental projects.<\/p>\n<p>The focus for the fiscal year 2025-26 was outlined clearly, with directives issued to expand civic amenities, implement environmentally sustainable projects under the &#8220;Green Islamabad&#8221; vision, introduce eco-friendly public transportation, speed up completion timelines for ongoing developments, and further strengthen digital services. Chairman Randhawa underscored the importance of enhancing and streamlining online systems, ensuring seamless service delivery and wide-ranging access for the public.<\/p>\n<p>In his concluding remarks, Chairman Randhawa appealed directly to the citizens of Islamabad, calling for continued cooperation by timely fulfilling their civic responsibilities and legal obligations.
