COMSTECH and IiLM Host Workshop to Strengthen Healthcare Leadership Across Islamic World<\/p>\n
In a strategic effort to strengthen healthcare leadership and accelerate positive transformations within healthcare systems in the Islamic world, OIC-COMSTECH, in partnership with the Institute of Innovation Leadership in Medicine (IiLM), is organizing a specialized workshop entitled “Healthcare Leadership: Global Models for Transforming Systems & Culture.” This impactful, interactive event is scheduled to be hosted at the COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad, and will engage participants both physically and virtually.<\/p>\n
The workshop will be led by Dr. Zakiuddin Ahmed, a recognized healthcare innovator and thought leader in leadership development and healthcare transformation. Dr. Ahmed, who also serves as the Secretary of the Health Research Advisory Board (HealthRAB), will leverage his extensive experience to equip participants with practical insights and innovative leadership frameworks applicable within their local contexts.<\/p>\n
The event’s official proceedings will commence with welcome remarks by His Excellency Professor Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH, renowned Mustafa (PBUH) Prize Laureate, and a prominent figure promoting scientific diplomacy and research collaboration in the Islamic community.<\/p>\n
Throughout its intensive four-hour duration, the workshop will comprehensively cover essential topics including situational analysis and identifying leadership needs within healthcare systems, examining diverse leadership styles and models, strategic planning processes, and implementing global leadership frameworks and best practices within varying institutional contexts.<\/p>\n
The workshop will conclude with a ceremonial vote of thanks and the distribution of certificates to participants. The goal is to empower attendees\u2014comprising healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and leadership practitioners from OIC member states\u2014with practical strategies and actionable tools for immediate implementation and long-term improvement of their national healthcare systems.<\/p>\n
