Bacha Khan International Airport successfully conducted its second coordination meeting for the upcoming Full Scale Airport Emergency Exercise (FSAEE-2025), as part of ongoing efforts to enhance airport safety and emergency preparedness.<\/p>\n
The session took place at the Pakistan Aviation Authority (PAA) Conference Room in Peshawar. It gathered key stakeholders, including senior officials from various sections of PAA, representatives from the Pakistan Air Force, personnel from 09 Army Aviation, commercial airlines, ground handling agencies, airport health specialists, and frontline emergency responders.<\/p>\n
Additionally, representatives from emergency services such as Rescue 1122, Fauji Foundation Hospital, Combined Military Hospital (CMH), and Edhi Ambulance Services participated actively, reaffirming their commitments to coordinated response during airport emergencies.<\/p>\n
Highlighting critical details of airport emergency protocol, a comprehensive presentation was jointly conducted by Mr. Naveed Sheikh, Crash Fire & Rescue Officer, and Mr. Kamran Zeb, Assistant Director RFFS. They provided an overview of the previous emergency exercise and facilitated a detailed walkthrough for the upcoming FSAEE-2025, outlining key improvement areas and planning considerations.<\/p>\n
Participants had the opportunity to review footage from the previous exercise, after which a question-and-answer session was conducted.
