**Federal Board Announces Matriculation Exam Results; Girls Outperform Boys**<\/p>\n
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has announced the annual results for the ninth and tenth-grade examinations. This year, a passing percentage of 62.18% was recorded for class IX and 88.51% for class X, reflecting notable achievements by the students.<\/p>\n
According to the results, in the Science Group for matriculation, Maryam Nadeem from Army Public School, Masroor Road Rawalpindi, secured the overall top position with 1093 marks. Amina Nasir from Lahore Grammar School, The Mall Wah Cantt, clinched the second position with 1087 marks. The third position was jointly held by Alishay Saqib from Amlah Foundation School & College, Misrial Road Rawalpindi, and Fatima Wajid from Army Public School & College for Girls, Attock, both scoring 1083 marks.<\/p>\n
In the Humanities Group, Sanah Bibi from Shining Star Public School, Allama Iqbal Colony, Rawalpindi Cantt, secured the first position by attaining 1045 marks. The second position went to Abdul Rehman from Institute of Islamic Science, Satrah Mile, Islamabad, with 1029 marks. Muhammad Sufian Ahmed, also from the Institute of Islamic Science, Satrah Mile, Islamabad, stood third with 1022 marks.<\/p>\n
During the result announcement ceremony, FBISE Chairman Dr. Ikram Ali Malik briefed Chief Guest Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for Education, on the examination system and congratulated the high-achieving students.<\/p>\n
Addressing the audience, Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui praised the achievements of Pakistani students worldwide. He congratulated all successful students, emphasizing that countries like China have turned their population into a strength rather than a burden. He urged Pakistan to invest in its youth, noting that skill acquisition is the paramount necessity in today\u2019s education. Dr. Siddiqui remarked that Pakistan\u2019s population of 180 million youth is sufficient to meet the nation\u2019s needs in the coming years, which he described as pivotal for the country\u2019s future.
