During his unannounced visit, Dr. Kayani toured all wards, including the emergency unit, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the hospital\u2019s operations. He held conversations with patients to gather feedback about the services provided and listened attentively to their complaints.<\/p>\n
A key concern raised by patients was the instruction from some doctors to purchase medicines from outside the hospital. Taking serious notice of this issue, Dr. Kayani immediately questioned the hospital\u2019s Medical Superintendent and relevant doctors, directing them to provide explanations. He also instructed that patients who were forced to buy medicines externally should be reimbursed.<\/p>\n
In addition, Dr. Kayani visited the hospital\u2019s physiotherapy unit, where he commended the doctors for their professional performance. He emphasized to hospital administration the importance of ensuring the provision of high-quality medical facilities and treatment to all patients.<\/p>\n
