The event highlighted both the academic achievements of position holders and the Board&#8217;s commitment to transparency and educational reforms.<\/p>\n<p>Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi attended the ceremony as chief guest, joined by MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed, provincial assembly members Malik Mansoor Afsar and Asma Abbasi, as well as BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, Board Secretary Amjad Iqbal Khattak, and Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Professor Bushra Mirza. The event drew education officials, teachers, students, and their families.<\/p>\n<p>In the results, Muhammad Usman of Lawrence College Ghora Gali Murree secured the first position with 1188 marks. The second position was claimed by Bisma Ali of Punjab Secondary School for Girls, Talagang, with 1177 marks, while Maryam Shehzadi of Bahria Foundation Secondary School for Girls, Pindi Road, Chakwal, secured third place with 1175 marks. The top achievers were presented with a guard of honour as well as medals and prizes by the Federal Minister.<\/p>\n<p>The overall pass rate stood at 62.89 percent, with a notable difference between male and female students. The pass rate for boys was 51.57 percent, while girls achieved a higher rate of 73.89 percent.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, Minister Hanif Abbasi congratulated the successful students and their parents, emphasizing the government&#8217;s commitment to educational reform and meritocracy. He noted that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif had awarded laptops and scholarships to high-achieving students, and credited the digitalization of the examination system for enhancing transparency. Abbasi also announced that developmental schemes had been approved for schools and colleges in Rawalpindi, and that efforts were underway to digitalize Pakistan Railways.<\/p>\n<p>On matters of national defense and foreign policy, the Minister remarked that recent threats from India regarding water supplies amounted to a declaration of war, but emphasized that Pakistan&#8217;s armed forces had effectively defended the nation and its sovereignty. He lauded the country&#8217;s diplomatic successes, attributing them to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n<p>MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed commended Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for introducing reforms aligned with modern educational requirements.
