The event featured engaging sessions focused on coral reef preservation, the promotion of sustainable maritime tourism, and strategies to enhance value chain resilience within the country\u2019s burgeoning blue economy.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the workshop, distinguished experts including Commander (Retired) Tariq Mahmood, Ms. Aneela Khan, and Ms. Sahar Malik delivered comprehensive presentations. They highlighted the significance of environmental stewardship and the need for innovative strategies to ensure sustainable growth across Pakistan\u2019s maritime sectors. Participants explored ways to balance economic activities with the urgent need to conserve marine ecosystems, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to maritime development.<\/p>\n<p>The closing ceremony was attended by Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz HI (M), Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations), who served as the chief guest. In his remarks, Vice Admiral Nawaz praised NIMA for its crucial role in promoting maritime awareness and equipping young professionals with the knowledge and skills needed for the sector. He underscored the importance of events such as this workshop in fostering a new generation of maritime leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Certificates were awarded to participants during the closing ceremony, with NIMA\u2019s President and Vice President expressing their appreciation for the attendees\u2019 active engagement and enthusiasm.
