The delegation from the Royal Norwegian Embassy, including Ms. Zara Kurtovic (Second Secretary & Special Advisor \u2013 Integration) and Mr. Abdur (Second Secretary), was welcomed by SHARP CEO Mr. Mudassar Javed and the program team. The visit began with a comprehensive tour of the Reception Desk Center (RDC), where SHARP representatives outlined their operational framework, security measures, and the organization\u2019s approach to delivering core services for vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n
During subsequent discussions, SHARP\u2019s leadership highlighted the organization’s broader protection agenda, underlining its proactive engagement with international partners to address urgent humanitarian challenges. Key topics included strategies to counter gender-based violence and human trafficking, as well as the need to enhance judicial mechanisms that safeguard refugees’ rights.<\/p>\n
The parties also exchanged views on SHARP\u2019s advocacy for justice systems that are transparent, inclusive, and grounded in human rights principles. SHARP concluded the meeting by reiterating its dedication to expanding legal aid and outreach services for Afghan refugees.
