**Minister of State Wajiha Qamar Visits National Incubation Center Quetta, Praises Youth-Led Innovation Initiatives**<\/p>\n
Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Ms. Wajiha Qamar, visited the National Incubation Center (NIC) at BUITEMS Quetta, where she received briefings on the center’s achievements and ongoing projects supporting youth innovation and entrepreneurship in Balochistan.<\/p>\n
During her visit, Ms. Qamar was welcomed by the Director of NIC and the Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, who outlined the center’s operational model and highlighted its role in nurturing technology-driven startups and creative initiatives in the region.<\/p>\n
A key part of the briefing focused on the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF)-supported project at the NIC. PPAF CEO, Mr. Nadir Gul Barech, explained that the initiative is designed to empower young entrepreneurs by offering bootcamps, mentorship, and seed funding for startups aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He emphasized the importance of enabling youth in Balochistan to develop and launch their own ventures, fostering economic growth and social progress.<\/p>\n
Ms. Qamar was also joined by the Director General of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Balochistan. She praised the collaborative efforts between the various organizations, noting their vital contributions to inclusive development and expanding educational opportunities.
