This achievement marks a significant milestone for the country\u2019s martial arts community and underlines the growing capabilities of Pakistani athletes on the global stage.<\/p>\n<p>The prestigious championship, held at Al Ain Island, featured participants from 25 different countries. Amidst stiff competition, Pakistan finished with 1 Gold, 6 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals, making it one of the standout delegations at the event. The success was led by Masood Afridi from Peshawar, who serves both as the General Secretary of the Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation and as a key competitor.<\/p>\n<p>Masood Afridi made headlines by winning the Gold medal in the fiercely contested 82kg weight category. Afridi exhibited outstanding skill and resolve as he defeated opponents from Armenia and Russia, ultimately triumphing over an American fighter in the final. His impressive campaign also included winning a Silver and a Bronze medal in the Power Breaking category, further boosting Pakistan\u2019s medal tally.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan\u2019s female athletes delivered equally commendable performances, collectively winning several medals across both fighting and pattern categories. Iqra Wakeel, competing in the 64kg weight class, captured a Silver medal in fighting and two Bronze medals in patterns. Sana Afridi, in the 60kg category, earned a Silver in fighting and two Bronzes in patterns. Khansa Ayub, also competing in the 64kg class, contributed a Silver in fighting and two Silvers in patterns.
