Judicial officers from Balochistan have begun a specialized training program in Lahore to enhance their skills in handling forensic evidence in criminal trials. This three-day training is organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) with funding from the European Union as part of the Deliver Justice Project. By focusing on the role and reliability of forensic evidence, the program seeks to strengthen judicial procedures and the overall administration of justice in Balochistan.<\/p>\n
A core component of the training is a field visit to the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA), one of Pakistan\u2019s most advanced forensic laboratories. This visit gives participants the opportunity to observe firsthand how forensic evidence is collected, processed, and analyzed. The hands-on experience is designed to foster inter-provincial knowledge exchange and introduce best practices that can be adapted to serve Balochistan\u2019s judicial system.<\/p>\n
