Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) Campus II has launched its Plantation Drive 2025 in partnership with the Rotary Club of Islamabad Metropolitan (RCIM), aiming to enhance environmental sustainability on campus. As part of this initiative, RCIM donated 200 saplings of various tree species, which will be planted across Campus II to promote a greener environment.<\/p>\n
The plantation event was attended by several notable figures, including FJWU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza, Campus II Director Prof. Dr. Azra Yasmin, and RCIM President Admiral Shahid Saeed. Also present were Mrs. Shahid Saeed, Rotarian Mian Shaukat Masood, Rotarian Ms. Tayyaba Gul, Rotarian Advocate Adil, as well as the Registrar, Additional Registrar, and faculty and staff members from Campus II. Together, participants planted trees and underscored the importance of environmental conservation and climate action.<\/p>\n
During the ceremony, RCIM President Admiral Shahid Saeed announced the conferment of Honorary Membership of RCIM to Vice Chancellor Dr. Bushra Mirza in recognition of her leadership and support for sustainable initiatives.
