Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath, Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, served as chief guest and reiterated the government\u2019s commitment to strengthening the healthcare system through effective regulation. Other key speakers included Geir T. Tonstol, Country Director of the ILO, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of National Health Services and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. A detailed technical presentation on the updated Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mati-ur-Rehman and Mr. Saeed Pasha, Technical Consultant from the ILO. They outlined the new requirements for healthcare facilities, followed by a lively question-and-answer session that allowed participants to seek clarifications and discuss practical challenges.<\/p>\n
In his closing remarks, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of Health Services Academy Islamabad, underscored the importance of ongoing training and regular monitoring to ensure all healthcare facilities meet these revised standards.
