The talks centered on progressing towards an effective and fair Global Plastics Treaty, with a strong emphasis on supporting a circular economy\u2014an approach that aims to reduce waste by reusing and recycling materials.<\/p>\n<p>A key topic in the discussions was the need to mobilize resources for developing countries, which often face the most severe impacts of plastic pollution despite contributing least to the problem.
