In line with this spirit, the US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCASE) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) took the spotlight by presenting two groundbreaking products designed to address critical water and energy challenges. The innovative solutions, DewDrop and Solar On-the-Go, were featured at an exhibition attended by industry stakeholders and potential investors, sparking interest in their real-world impact.<\/p>\n
DewDrop is a solar-powered atmospheric water generator capable of extracting clean drinking water from air humidity. This technology is particularly beneficial for areas facing water scarcity, such as remote communities, army forward posts, disaster zones, and coastal regions where conventional supply chains are difficult to maintain.<\/p>\n
Complementing this, Solar On-the-Go provides a portable solar energy solution, ensuring reliable off-grid electricity for communication devices, lighting, and field operations. Its compact, rugged design makes it ideal for use in military camps, field posts, and emergency response situations where access to power is often limited.<\/p>\n
The development of these technologies has been led by Dr. Nadia Shahzad, Founder and Associate Professor at USPCASE NUST, and Dr. Adeel Waqas, Co-Founder and Principal at USPCASE NUST, alongside a dedicated team including Syed Shabbir Ahmed, Ranjeet Kumar, Zaheer Ahmed, and Hina Pervaiz. The team expressed gratitude to the NUST Research and Innovation Center, DG Projects NUST, and USPCASE for supporting their work and providing a platform to exhibit these solutions.<\/p>\n
