Thailand and the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) have taken significant steps to advance academic cooperation and improve support for Thai students studying in Pakistan, following a high-level visit by a Thai delegation to the university.<\/p>\n
The delegation, led by the Ambassador of Thailand to Islamabad and including senior officials from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center, was received by IIUI\u2019s Vice President (Administration and Finance), Professor Dr. Abdul Raheman, along with other university leaders. Discussions focused on increasing collaboration between Thai universities and IIUI through faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects, and the development of curricula addressing contemporary global challenges.<\/p>\n
Both sides also explored ways to enhance the well-being of Thai students enrolled at IIUI, working to ensure their academic journey and life in Pakistan are comfortable and secure. They pledged ongoing support for cultural and educational initiatives to integrate students and enrich their university experience.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional ties between the Thai Embassy and the university, aiming to expand academic networks and forge additional partnerships with higher education institutions in Thailand.<\/p>\n
