FBISE Celebrates Eid Milad un Nabi with Urdu Speech

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) in Islamabad marked the 1500th celebrations of Eid Milad un Nabi with an Urdu speech competition that drew more than 107 students from FBISE-affiliated institutions across Pakistan, highlighting the Prophet’s message of tolerance and brotherhood and awarding top performers for their speeches.
The competition was held at the FBISE auditorium and focused on the theme “برداشت اور بھائی چارہ – سیرت نبوی کا عملی پیغام” (Tolerance and Brotherhood – The Practical Message of the Prophet’s Life). Students delivered passionate and thought-provoking addresses reflecting on how the Prophet’s teachings can be applied in daily life to promote social harmony.
More than 107 participants from schools and colleges affiliated with FBISE took part, presenting a wide range of perspectives and interpretations of the theme. The event provided a platform for young speakers to engage with ethical and social topics and to demonstrate their Urdu oratory skills.
The top three winners were Raja Rehan Haider of FG Degree College for Men, Wah Cantt; Zeeshan Qadir of Sultana Foundation Boys High School, Islamabad; and Sumayya Fatima of Bahria College, Naval Complex, Islamabad. These students were recognized for the clarity, relevance, and impact of their speeches.
Mirza Ali, Director of Test Development at FBISE, served as chief guest and presented certificates and cash prizes to the winners. Organizers praised all participants for their contributions and noted that the competition helped make the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
