Driving PRCS Partnership Collaboration 2025

A dynamic roundtable on strategic reflections brought forward focused dialogue on the PRCS partnership during the PRCS Partnership Meeting 2025, exploring priorities and opportunities for deepened cooperation across Pakistan and the region.

Mr Alexander Matheou, IFRC Regional Director for the Asia Pacific Region, guided the conversation, helping to frame the PRCS context and identify practical avenues for future collaboration between national societies and PRCS leadership and technical teams.

Participants from partner national societies kept the session highly interactive, raising thoughtful questions and exchanging perspectives that highlighted shared operational challenges and complementary strengths. The discussion centred on translating strategic reflection into coordinated action that strengthens surge capacity, preparedness and community-level support.

Through open dialogue and technical engagement, attendees reaffirmed a collective commitment to stronger partnerships and meaningful coordination. Emphasis on information sharing, joint planning and regional linkages underlined the role of the PRCS partnership in enhancing humanitarian impact across Pakistan and neighbouring countries.

Organisers said the roundtable’s outcomes will inform ongoing collaboration and follow-up activities, with PRCS leadership and partners working to maintain momentum and convert strategic reflections into tangible improvements for vulnerable communities.
