Revitalizing Rawalpindi parks for New Year

Following directions from the MD Horticulture Agency, Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi has intensified efforts to beautify Rawalpindi parks for the New Year and to safeguard flowers and plants planted for winter. The initiative focuses on maintaining green spaces across the city and ensuring planted beds remain healthy through the colder months.

Work at the historically important Liaquat Bagh has included targeted decoration and protective measures for delicate plants. Colorful beds and refreshed plantings are creating a springlike scene that is drawing attention from local residents, while the agency has also arranged for practical safety and entertainment amenities so families can enjoy park visits comfortably.

The staff of Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi are carrying out gardening and maintenance activities with dedication, applying mulches, covers and routine care to reduce cold damage. According to Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, MD Horticulture Agency, teams are working day and night to make Rawalpindi greener in line with the Punjab government’s vision and to provide a healthier recreational environment for citizens.

Resources have been mobilized across the city to protect plants in green belts and public parks from severe cold, while ongoing decoration work at Liaquat Bagh highlights the agency’s commitment to urban greening and community spaces. Citizens are visiting in large numbers to enjoy the improved landscape and seasonal displays.
