On 21 January 2026 in Islamabad, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq visited the residence of the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Information for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, to express condolences on the passing of his mother.
Ayaz Sadiq offered Fateha for the departed soul and conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to Ikhtiar Wali Khan and his family. He described the loss of parents as an irreparable sorrow, noting that parental love, sacrifices and prayers have no substitute.
The Speaker said he fully shares the grief of Ikhtiar Wali Khan and his relatives at this difficult time and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the departed soul a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bestow patience and fortitude on the bereaved family.
