FPCCI President Honors Armed Forces at Maraka e Haq
FPCCI President Atif Akram Sheikh participated in Islamabad Police’s Maraka e Haq ceremony and paid tribute to the professionalism and bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces. The event was hosted by Islamabad Police and attended by a large number of officers and personnel who stood alongside civil and business leaders to honor the defence of the nation.
Senior police leadership present included IG Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq, SSP Usman Tariq and Sarfraz Work, among many other officials and constables. Chairman Coordination Malik Sohail Hussain and representatives of the business community joined the FPCCI President in showing solidarity with the security forces.
Atif Akram Sheikh emphasized that the entire business community stands shoulder to shoulder with the brave men and women of Pakistan’s armed forces. He said the nation pays deep respect to the martyrs and the veterans who became a steel wall defending their homeland and expressed gratitude for their sacrifices.
The FPCCI President highlighted that coordinated and organized responses across the land, sea, air and cyber domains showcased Pakistan as an indomitable force. He described Maraka e Haq as clear evidence that Pakistanis are peaceful by nature yet courageous, dignified and resolute when defending national sovereignty.
Sheikh reiterated that the Pakistani nation cannot be intimidated or bent by aggression and called the recent operations a historic achievement that secured decisive advantage against unprovoked hostility. He paid special tribute to the military leadership, saying, “We salute Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his courageous leadership,” and praised Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar and Admiral Naveed Ashraf for their prudent strategies.
He also lauded the Pakistan Navy for its vigilant and exemplary services in safeguarding the country’s borders during the operations. The ceremony in Islamabad underscored strong cooperation between law enforcement, the business community and the armed forces in upholding national security and unity.
