Ten Students, Two Teachers Leave for Moscow After Russian Course

ISLAMABAD, July 26, 2026: Ten students and two teachers left for Moscow on Sunday after successfully completing a Russian language course at Islamabad Model College for Boys, I-8/3.

The visit is taking place on the invitation of the Government of the Russian Federation under the Prime Minister’s Initiative.

Foreign language courses were introduced in colleges working under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) through a tripartite agreement among the FDE, the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).

The initiative is aimed at providing young people with foreign language skills, international exposure and abilities linked with emerging educational and employment opportunities.

The Ministry appreciated the contribution and continued support of the FDE, NAVTTC, NUML and the Government of the Russian Federation in making the programme successful.
