PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Department has decided to extend the tenure of Project Director Faaiz Arbab for another two years in recognition of his outstanding performance and contributions to sports development projects in the province.
According to sources, Faaiz Arbab played an important role during his tenure in the development of sports infrastructure, construction and rehabilitation of sports grounds, and supervision of various development projects across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
His performance has reportedly been appreciated by the Sports Department.
Senior officials of the department believe that retaining an experienced officer is essential for the timely completion of ongoing projects and for ensuring the provision of sports facilities in different districts of the province.
Sources further said that a decision has been made to retain Faaiz Arbab on the same assignment for another two years, while a formal notification regarding the extension is expected to be issued soon.
