Northwest School of Medicine awards 32 merit scholarships to MBBS students

PESHAWAR: Northwest School of Medicine (NWSM) awarded 32 merit-based scholarships to outstanding MBBS students from first year to final year at a ceremony held to recognise academic excellence and student achievement.

The scholarships were awarded to students for their exceptional academic performance, dedication, hard work and perseverance during their medical education.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi attended the ceremony as chief guest, while Prof Dr Rubina Nazli, Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, was the guest of honour.

The distinguished guests distributed scholarship cheques among the deserving students and appreciated their commitment to academic excellence. The initiative was aimed at encouraging students to continue striving for higher achievements and to contribute meaningfully to the field of healthcare.

Mr Malik Abdul Latif Awan, Chief Executive of Alliance Healthcare Limited (AHL), and Prof Dr Amir Khan, Principal of Northwest School of Medicine, also attended the event. They congratulated the scholarship recipients and urged them to pursue their academic and professional journeys with passion, integrity and commitment to excellence.
