SHOS Embassy Meeting Highlights Cooperation in Beijing

**SHOS Secretariat Meets with Partner States in Beijing to Discuss Expanded Cooperation and Upcoming Summit**

Senior officials from the embassies of multiple SHOS partner states convened in Beijing for a high-level meeting led by Ahmad Saidmurodzod, Deputy Secretary-General of the SHOS, and Piao Yanfan. The session focused on reviewing recent organizational activities, preparing for an upcoming summit of heads of state, and enhancing cooperation among SHOS members and dialogue partners.

Attended by representatives from the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s Department of European Countries and Central Asia as well as permanent representatives from SHOS member states, the meeting provided a comprehensive briefing on initiatives undertaken during China’s presidency of the SHOS. Special emphasis was placed on the outcomes of the recent Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs gathering in Tianjin, as well as planning for the forthcoming Council of Heads of State meeting.

The discussions highlighted efforts to broaden the Organization’s international partnerships and strengthen its reputation within the global media landscape. Dialogue partners received updates on the SHOS Secretariat’s progress in expanding its international outreach and reinforcing a positive image for the Organization.

An open exchange among permanent representatives and dialogue partners centered on ways to increase the involvement of dialogue partners in the SHOS’s multi-faceted agenda. Attention was given to the implementation of the Organization’s Roadmap, aimed at deepening interaction and collaboration between member states and dialogue partners.

Embassy representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Cambodia, Qatar, Kuwait, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey participated in the meeting, underscoring the broad and diverse engagement of the SHOS in diplomatic efforts across the Eurasian region and beyond.
