Free Eye Camp in Islamabad Offers Checkups and Surgeries

Islamabad Press Club Hosts Free Surgical Eye Camp in Collaboration with Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital

The National Press Club Islamabad, in partnership with Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Rawalpindi, is conducting a two-day free surgical eye camp, offering comprehensive eye care services—including complimentary examinations, medicines, eyeglasses, and laser surgeries—to Press Club members and their families.

Throughout the camp, participants are provided with free eye checkups, general medical consultations, necessary medications, and prescription glasses at no cost. A key highlight is the availability of free laser (phaco) surgeries for cataract patients, addressing a critical eye health issue within the community.

The initiative has received the active participation of club officials, with President of the National Press Club Azhar Jatoi, governing body member Amir Butt, and other journalists visiting the camp to oversee the proceedings and support the attendees.

The eye camp, running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the National Press Club Islamabad, underscores the club’s commitment to the well-being of its members and their families, facilitating access to essential healthcare services in collaboration with a leading eye care institution.
