Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan chaired a meeting to discuss the upcoming Regional Transport Ministers Conference, scheduled for late October. The meeting focused on finalizing the two-day conference’s agenda, planning various sessions, and addressing organizational matters, resulting in several important decisions.
The conference is expected to host delegates from 27 countries, aiming to foster regional cooperation on transport and communications issues. Major international organizations, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, World Health Organization, International Road Organization, and other global bodies, will also be invited to participate. The event seeks to promote dialogue, share best practices, and develop strategies for improving transport infrastructure and regional connectivity.
