SGF Boosts Local Humanitarian Coordination in Sindh

At an orientation for the Together Programme held at the Indus Hotel in Hyderabad, Peer Humanitarian Partners, Local Humanitarian Partners and the Welthungerhilfe team met to strengthen collaboration under the localization agenda and improve humanitarian coordination across Sindh.

The Sindh Green Foundation (SGF) delivered a detailed presentation on the organisation’s humanitarian and development initiatives spanning several districts of Sindh, highlighting practical work in climate resilience, social cohesion and youth development.

SGF representatives described community-led approaches and operational experience that contribute to more effective humanitarian coordination at the district level, including strategies for climate-adaptive programming and youth engagement that reinforce local capacities.

Participants used the orientation as a platform for mutual learning and alignment, reinforcing commitments to timely, accountable and locally led humanitarian action that responds to the needs of communities across Sindh Province.
