Rawalpindi Education Board Chairman Praises Transparent Exam Conduct Amid Surprise Visits

No Room for Cheating: BISE Rawalpindi Tightens Grip on Exam Integrity

Rawalpindi,— Chairman of the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Muhammad Adnan Khan, conducted surprise inspections of several examination centers during the ongoing Intermediate First Annual Examinations 2025. His visits aimed to review the effectiveness of administrative, security, and anti-cheating measures in place.

During his inspection, Chairman Khan thoroughly assessed the arrangements at the centers, including the deployment of CCTV surveillance, security protocols, and seating plans for students. Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, he commended the implementation of a secure and comprehensive system, noting that significant progress had been made in curbing the menace of cheating.

Chairman Khan attributed the improved conditions to the zero-tolerance policy initiated by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He also acknowledged the role of Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat and Secretary Higher Education Dr. Farrukh Naveed in ensuring a transparent, merit-based, and well-organized examination system across Punjab.

Meanwhile, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan conducted parallel visits to multiple institutions, including Government Associate College (Women) Kahuta, Government Girls and Boys High Schools in Kahuta, Government Girls High School Marking Center, Government Graduate College for Women Waqar-un-Nisa Rawalpindi, and Government Associate College on Zafar-ul-Haq Road.

During his inspection, Controller Awan reviewed the attendance of examination staff, seating arrangements for students, and the provision of necessary facilities. He expressed overall satisfaction with the management of the centers. He also issued clear directives to teachers involved in the marking process to ensure absolute transparency, honesty, and adherence to merit while evaluating answer sheets.
