Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar led a focused review with HEC officials during a meeting chaired by Federal Secretary for Education and Professional Training Mr. Nadeem Mahbub to monitor progress on the Prime Minister’s directives for the higher education sector.
The discussion concentrated on ensuring seamless execution of priority initiatives, with particular attention to final preparations for the ICT Competency Test scheduled for early April. Officials reviewed timelines, coordination with universities and logistical readiness to ensure the ICT Competency Test proceeds smoothly.
HEC reiterated its commitment to implement the Government’s vision with diligence, working in close harmony with the Ministry to translate strategic priorities into tangible benefits for students and faculty across Pakistan. The institutions agreed to maintain close oversight as final steps for the ICT Competency Test are completed.
