President Asif Ali Zardari visited the Prime Minister House in Islamabad to meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. During the meeting, President Zardari offered his condolences to the Prime Minister on the passing of his cousin, Mian Shahid Shafi. The President prayed for the elevation of the late Mian Shahid Shafi’s soul and for patience and strength for his family in this difficult time.
In addition to his visit, President Zardari also spoke to Javed Shafi, the elder brother of the deceased, over the phone and offered his sympathies.
