September 2025 Polio Campaign Launch in Islamabad

The Islamabad District Health Officer, in collaboration with the World Health Organization Pakistan and other partners, has launched the September round of its polio immunization campaign. Health teams have begun visiting households across the city to vaccinate every child under the age of five against polio.
Field monitors are actively supervising vaccination teams to maintain the quality and effectiveness of the campaign. Authorities emphasize the importance of parental cooperation and urge all parents to ensure their children under five receive the vaccine.
Officials reaffirm their commitment to eradicating polio from Pakistan and call for community support in achieving a polio-free future for the country.
